Spring Daze is finally upon us!
Join us for Spring Daze on May 3rd from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM as we kick off the start of the Farmers Market season with a morning full of fun, flavor, and fresh finds! Enjoy a Historical Walk, dance to tunes from a live DJ, and let the kids have a blast in the Bounce House. Browse a vibrant selection of local crafters and farm fresh goods, including spring mix, strawberries, plant starters, house plants, honey, eggs, handmade crafts, soaps, beard oils, essential oils, candles, baked goods, and more. Cool off with a Frios Gourmet Popsicle while you explore all the market has to offer. It’s the perfect way to welcome spring—don’t miss it!

It’s a great way to share your mission, raise awareness, and support your organization—all while treating visitors to something sweet.

Wondering what you can make from what’s at the market? This Spring Mix Strawberry Salad with Honey Vinaigrette is a fresh, easy, and delicious way to use seasonal ingredients from the Thomasville Farmers Market—like local strawberries, greens, onions, honey, and cheese. It's perfect for a light lunch or as a side dish for spring gatherings!
Spring Mix Strawberry Salad with Honey Vinaigrette
Ingredients
For the Salad:
Spring mix salad greens
Fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
Crumbled feta or goat cheese
Thinly sliced red onion
For the Honey Vinaigrette:
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar (or adjusted to taste)
2 Tbsp honey
2 tsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
1/4 tsp black pepper (or to taste)
Instructions:
In a mason jar or measuring cup, whisk together the vinaigrette ingredients until well combined.
In a large serving bowl, layer spring mix, strawberries, red onion, and crumbled cheese.
Just before serving, drizzle the honey vinaigrette over the salad and gently toss to coat.
Pick up everything you need this Saturday at the market and enjoy the taste of spring with every bite!
