Flower Power at the Market

Flowers...more than just pretty blooms!

Flower Power is coming to Thomasville Farmers Market this Saturday!

We’re thrilled to welcome our new flower vendor, Kaitlyn Porter, who will be hosting a special flower demo you won’t want to miss. Also don’t forget to stop by and peruse the lovely plants provided by Soiled by Beth, as well as making your own arrangement from the gorgeous cut flowers showcased by Flower House Flowers — two of our favorite bloom artists bringing color and creativity to the market.

Did you know that flowers have amazing benefits in addition to their aesthetic appeal? They boost mood, enhance creativity and purify the air, among other great benefits!

Jordan and Aimee will also be hosting a Flower Power planting station for young gardeners, featuring seeds to grow edible and ornamental flowers!

Back by popular demand, Bumbleberry Farm will have fresh whole organic chicken at this Saturday’s market!

This Saturday, New Beginning United Methodist Church will be selling baked goods!

We’re thrilled to continue the Eat the Rainbow program, a fun, hands-on nutrition and produce program just for kids—designed to inspire healthy habits, adventurous eating, and community connection!

Continuing each Saturday through the season, children who visit the Thomasville Farmers Market will receive:

  • A $3 produce voucher to spend on fresh fruits and veggies from our amazing local farmers

  • A colorful Eat the Rainbow Passport packed with engaging challenges, food facts, and a spot to track their market adventures

  • Fun, weekly activities that encourage tasting new foods and learning how fruits and vegetables grow

This program is more than just shopping—it’s a way for kids to explore the farmers market, try new things, and understand where their food comes from in a supportive and exciting environment. Plus, it helps families stretch their food dollars while supporting local growers!

Let’s grow healthy habits together—one color at a time!
